Any topic (writer’s choice)

Okay here is your next thread:

There were so many legitimate stressors reported in the previous thread, so let’s use this new thread to try to obtain some relief!  Think about your own job situation and ponder: what can you do to reduce the job stress?

It doesnt have to be something big. For instance, as an example, one thing I did to minimize my own on-the-job stress….I put a moving (with sound, too!) realistic-looking waterfall as my screen-saver; it has a calming, stress-reducing effect for me as I do my work. And I ask Alexa to play soft, relaxing music in the background when Im working on the computer. I also bought a small diffuser which makes pretty steam and a few drops of scented oil adds aromatherapy.  Likewise it is stressful to work or do your homework with poor lighting – a new inexpensive lamp (or bulb) is a quick and simple fix that really DOES work well to eliminate the stress!  Even a small pretty plant helped to brighten up my working area. Finally, on the occasional days when I use the subways to travel to work, I always have a good book with me so I have something interesting to read after I use up all my lives on Candy Crush.

Your task for this thread is to try to name at least two or three stress-busting on-the-job strategies that you can use to decrease some of the stress at work or at school. The methods I described above that work for me all are involved with creating a peaceful and serene workspace. I like it, but it may not be practical or enjoyable for some of you, depending on your work situation or your personality. So think about it, and come up with some practical and enjoyable strategies that might really work for you, to eliminate or reduce some of your occupational stress! (If you are not working, then choose something else, such as your school chores, parenting chores, etc.
