1. Your final paper will be 4 – 4.5 pages long. This means that each subtopic should have approximately two paragraphs of information.
2. Each paragraph should follow proper paragraph structure. This means:
topic sentence
introduction to evidence
evidence
embedded citation
explanation of how evidence supports thesis
conclusion sentence.

3. If you would like to include more than one piece of evidence in each paragraph, you will be repeating the components from Step 2 without including another topic/conclusion sentence.
4. You must include an embedded citation for each piece of evidence. This is true whether you directly quote the evidence or paraphrase it.
5. REMEMBER: All of your evidence is coming directly from the notecards/slides. If you need more information to support your idea, you will have an opportunity at a later date to fill that in.
