Assignment specifics:

1) Please write out your personal definition for “sustainable tourism” as based on your existing knowledge and perceptions.  What do you now think it means?  No wrong answers.

2) How, if at all, does “sustainable tourism” differ from “eco tourism” as based on your existing knowledge and perceptions.  Are they the same?  Are they totally different?  Are some aspects similar?

3) Why do you feel we don’t hear the term “sustainable tourism” in relation to the United States very often, as compared to the rest of the world?
