Use the rubric, the assessment results from the previously reviewed case study student for whom you created an instructional recommendations chart, and the information in this module, to develop IEP GOALS and objectives aligned to student’s needs.
You must write at least two goals. Each goal should have at least two objectives each. The goals should be related to needs identified through the informal and formal assessments you reviewed for your selected student.
The goals and objectives must meet the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) guidelines. An excerpt from a Division of Early Intervention and Special Education Services Technical Assistance Bulletin is included below.
