Skepticism vs Gullibility.

It seems like an epistemic error to be too skeptical, but it also seems like an epistemic error to be too gullible. How should one navigate the tension between these two mistakes?

I would prefer an argument that leans towards skepticism, since I have more knowledge on that path.
