Go to the share drive and watch Carnival of Souls (you most likely have seen this movie before, many times). Start thinking about how you would remake the film using the influences of German Expressionism and/or David Lynch–basically, a surrealistic approach. BTW there are tons of examples of Expressionist films on Youtube, ie, Nosferatu, Metropolis, The Passion of Joan of Arc. Newer films would be Blade Runner (the 1982 version) Vertigo.
