How do the authors explain/simulate/map the range expansion of mountain pine beetle (MPB), and do you think this is effective?

The authors state In the past, large-scale mountain pine beetle outbreaks collapsed due to localized depletion of suitable host trees in combination with the adverse effects of climate. What do they predict will happen with MPB outbreaks in the future if climate change continues in their predicted trajectory?
