Research using business and expert websites as well as academic sources (articles, books, etc.) to help you understand typically non-profit set-ups, earnings, finances, etc.

A survey to a minimum of 20 respondents to get a better sense of what your target community might need or would like to see in the product or service you are developing.

An interview with at least one person (via email, chat, video, or audio (recorded in the latter cases) that will help you to understand how best to set up a non-profit. People you might interview could include managers, works within an existing non-profit, or a potential community member you might serve with your non-profit.
