I am assigning class to use the usual class time and search seriously for topics of Mergers & Acquisitions domestically and internationally. Then, write a short documentary report and answer the following questions (YOU MAY TEAM UP WITH ANOTHER PERSON IN THIS CLASS:

1. What is Mergers & Acquisition (M&A)

2. Motives for M&As – why companies engage in M&As – Provide at least 3 solid reasons.

3. Provide statistics or data on the M&As in the past 10 years, names of companies involved, a very very short reason for it, size of each transaction (make a small table and list them and in a second column enter dollar amount or size of the transaction, date

4. Find basic statistics or data on global (international M&As) etc.

5. In your opinion, are M&As are good or bad for the economy.    PROVIDE SOURCE/LINK TO YOUR REPORT ESPECIALLY STATISTICS AND TABLES). YOUR REPORT SHOULD BE 3-4 PAGESW IN LENGTH, 1″ MARGIN, 12″ TIMES NEW ROMAN AND IN WORD.
