What is it? As a student of ENGL 1302, the expectation is that you have mastered the art of
rhetoric, Further, because you have also completed a thorough analysis, investigation, and
argument of a particular claim, you should be well-versed in the subject you chose. You
will present a claim to the class (powerpoint/slide show) and attempt to educate your
audience as well as persuade your audience.
How do I do this? By using compelling and effective ethos, pathos, and logos.
