      2.  Select a job performer who is at the center of the performance gap that you described in your Statement of the Problem in Unit 1.

        3.  With that job in mind, how well are all of the conditions in Figure 42.3 on page 992 satisfied?

        4.  Where could there be some improvement?

        Now look at the job situation from the performer’s viewpoint as shown in Figure 52.7 on page 1202.

        1.  What do you think is the performer’s perception of the four system variables: direction, support, consequences, and feedback?

    2. Post a description of your findings for each of the above analyses.
        Identify and discuss what types of improvements are needed.
