HTTP/2: Is it Really More Secure?

The new Internet communication protocol, HTTP/2, is now being used by 11 percent of websites — up from just 2.3 percent a year ago, according to W3Techs (See below for link). The new protocol does offer better performance, but what about its security implications? While no security problems have been found in the protocol itself to date, is it really more secure than its predecessor, HTTP/1.1?
