Globalization is an ever-present phenomenon that shapes our life even if we don’t go anywhere. I woke up yesterday, for example, and quickly saw the news about the government’s violent repression of protests in Colombia. I also had an avocado from Mexico as part of my dinner, read a book by a Canadian author, and wore a blouse made in India.  For this forum, identify ONE element (it can be an object, a person, or event) that played a role in your day and that is in some way “global”. Be curious about it and find out more about the nature of this global piece of your day. Share your findings with others in the group.
