Essay 1. Imagine that your professor starts thinking Maybe I should just eat, drink, and be merry for we are doomed by disease and climate change. Having just completed your preparation for the MMW121 final exam, you decide to frame the professor’s view in the perspective of the course content and then to broaden his thinking by presenting alternate views, drawing on two traditions from the course, each from a different region of the world (Mediterranean/Middle East or South Asia or East Asia or Americas). After you have explained these, identify which of the three perspectives (that is, the professors view plus the two you are proposing) would be the one youd best recommend for the professor and justify this position with the course content.
Essay 2. Your professor confides that he needs advice on figuring out who he really is and how to achieve a state of well-being Having just completed your preparation for the MMW121 final exam, you respond by presenting approaches from at least two traditions from the course, each from a different region of the world (Mediterranean/Middle East or South Asia or East Asia or Americas). After explaining these options, make the case for the path that you believe will be easiest for your professor to follow and explain why.
