Each student will choose a group of students (immigrant students, undocumented students, students living in poverty, students who are homeless, Latino students, native students, transgender students, accessible forums for social justice, equitable access to birth to college programs, curriculum that is culturally relevant for the 21st century, creating communities of learning that include families etc.) on whose behalf to explore available non-profit educational improvement services and organizations in the Puget Sound region. You will research your chosen population, organizations available to offer educational support, and the impact of such support. Then you will present your research to the class. Presentations will be 5-7 minutes.
You could use various medium for your presentation: Powerpoint, Adobe Spark, Storybird, BookCreator.
You will need to create a set of no more than 10 slides or 5-7 minutes of narration with clear organization and presentation elements including:
Sufficient font size
Clearly stated and concise points
Visually interesting content
Audio narration
You may use the app or program of your choice for this assignment, as long as it may be exported in final form in a video playable format or may be made available via stable link.
