Examples could include
=> Making a drinkable preparation for a patient by combining a dried powder with water and making sure mass/volume ratio was correct.
=>You decide to create your own paint by combining various dyes. The paint could be either water-based or oil based. To make sure you have the right combination of dyes and base, you would need to check solubility tables to ensure that either all the dyes are soluble in oil, or all the dyes are soluble in water. If some are only soluble in oil, and others are only soluble in water, you will need to choose different dyes such that they are all soluble in either one or the other.
