Assignment Scenario 1

Greg, a 16-year-old white male, was driving home at 1:00 a.m. on a Thursday morning after getting off work at a Domino’s pizza. Police pulled him over for speeding at 45 mph in a 40-mph zone. The officer claimed he smelled alcohol on Gregs breath and asked him to step out of the car. The officer asked Greg if he could look in the car, but Greg did not answer. The officer searched the car and found a small bag of marijuana. The officer did not find any alcohol in the car, and a blood test indicated that Greg had no alcohol in his system. Greg was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
