Pearson and Polden (2019, p.222) suggest that sometimes hard truths need to be told for the greater good of society. Deciding whether to do so or not needs to involve an informed ethical and legal decision by the professional communicator.
 
Discuss and argue this statement with reference to TWO real examples/ cases from the contemporary media in Australia.

Your discussion must include Media Law and Ethical principles and concepts such as contempt of court, confidentiality and sources, privacy, suppression orders, media regulation, Sub judice, discrimination, Utility, Categorical Imperative and so on.
