Your country analysis paper will include your critical evaluation of an important global social
issue in a particular country or countries. You will need to pick a topic related to modules that we
covered in the second half of the semester: transnational cybercrime, human trafficking, policing
globally, terrorism, race/ethnicity & immigration, or gender, and sexuality in a comparative
context). Then, pick a country you want to focus on (you can also focus on more than one country
because some crimes are transnational). At least one country you talk about needs to be a nonUnited States location. You can discuss the same country you discussed in the prior paper, but
you will need to focus on different facts and issues in this country. You will discuss
characteristics of that country(s); the importance of studying your topic; apply global crime and
justice concepts explaining your issue of interest; and finally, provide some ideas for policies to
help resolve this global problem or improve criminal justice systems in different contexts. Your
paper needs to be at least 3 pages long double-spaced.
