This 11th Annual Report to the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Congress is an excellent and comprehensive review of the challenges we face in sustaining a highly-educated and skillful workforce. For part-A of this assignment, summarize the challenges that healthcare professionals will face in the future; including a specific focus on the Respiratory Care professional (2-4 paragraphs should suffice). Based on the information and strategies contained in the report, your challenge is to develop a proposal for a formal CE Program in your Respiratory Care Department. Currently, your department conducts only periodic in-service education events including an occasional outside speaker (Resident, Fellow, other professional member like a Medical Technologist, Pharmaceutical Rep., etc.). Please plan on submitting a more  formal, focused (relative) and comprehensive CE plan based on clinical and regulatory.This exercise should be submitted no later than 4/25/2021.
