Take the VSM of your Current State (from your previous assignment) and submit your analysis of the process you have captured.

The analysis should include a check list of the 7 forms of waste and whether you have discovered any or all of these forms of waste.
What are they? What is their impact to your process?
Submit a new VSM of the Ideal state of you process, one that you would feel comfortable to propose to your management.
In your summary, list the improvements that you have documented in your new VSM, and the value of these proposed improvements:
Cycle Time
Costs
Floor space / Office space reduction
Quality improvements
Labor savings
