Camus Reflection Paper (1250-1500 words)
To be submitted on Turnitin by 11:59 pm, on Friday April 23rd
[You can have until the 28th if you need it (given my having mistakenly put the wrong date) but please submit it as soon as you can.]
Albert Camus Myth of Sisyphus focuses on the struggle for meaning as a defining trait of human existence. What do you think of his conception of the human condition? How would you characterize it? And why do you think he focuses on suicide as a subject of such importance? Do you agree with him? Please develop a structured paper on his essay. (If you wish, you can include The Seventh Seal in your discussion. But please do so with caution: your aim is to focus squarely on Camus text.)
Citations: Please note that there are numbers in square brackets [xx] inserted into the Microsoft Word document that I created for our Camus reading. Those refer to the page numbers of the edition from which I drew our makeshift version of the text. So when quoting (or even referring to) Camus work, please anchor your discussion in the text by way of those.
