Aim of Assessment The aim of this assessment is to provide students with an opportunity to (1) gain a deeper understanding of the palliative care approach and how it is delivered across different settings in Australia; (2) develop an understanding that different settings pose challenges and benefits for nurses providing a palliative approach, the patient receiving palliation and their family and carers; (3) further develop research and written communication skills. Essay Question: In Australia, palliative care is delivered in a range of health-care settings, including community such as a persons home. Write an essay that: a) Discusses the importance of providing nursing care reflecting a palliative approach for a person and their family within the community setting. b) Discusses the challenges and benefits of providing nursing care reflecting a palliative approach for a person and their family receiving palliation in the community. Usecurrent and relevant literature to adequately support your discussion throughout the essay. There is a word limit of 1200 words. Use your computer to tell you the length of your essay and how many words you have written. Do not include the reference list at the end of your essay in the word count. If you exceed the word limit by more than 10% the marker will stop marking your essay at the 1500 word plus 10%.. ?
