AI, machine learning technologies and/or the IoT are renovating the business

Sources: Read through the British Academy/ Royal Society’s report on the Future of Work in the UK, and read through the PWC report on the same. Both reports explore the implications of AI /automation/ the IoT for the future of work.
Task: Reflect on everything you have learnt from these sources, and use the insights and information you have gleaned to assess how AI, machine learning technologies and/or the IoT are renovating the business processes of ONE of the following companies, and helping them to become future-ready. Consider, also,  to what extent the Covid crisis has pushed them to accelerate, intensify or perhaps modify the trajectory they were on. Choose ONE of the following companies to analyse.

NB: I am asking you to critically assess what these companies are doing with their AI/automation/IoT. If what they do does not seem to match their marketing claims, feel free to point this out (and explain your reasons).  If you feel some of their decisions are misguided, say so (but explain your reasons). If you really like what they are doing, say so too (and explain why).

IMPORTANT: Please reference the two reports mentioned above (British Academy & Royal Society one, and the PWC one) in your research project. Reference the websites I’ve given you below too (those that link to information about your chosen company) and feel free, of course, to do your own research and ADD what you have found to the sources I have given you.
Areas to investigate and analyse (not all these will necessarily apply to every one of the listed companies)

How AI/automation/IoT is changing the way your chosen business interacts with their customers
How AI/automation/IoT is affecting one or more of these areas of the business: personalisation, flexibility, speed, decision-making, scalability
How AI/automation/IoT is helping the company stay ahead of its competitors
How AI/automation/ IoT is helping the company cope in the Covid crisis
