Example

Topic: Abortion is morally wrong except if the mother’s life is in danger

Premise #1: All human beings have a right to life

Premise #2: New human life begins at the moment of conception

Premise #3: Therefore, at the moment of conception, the right to life is given to the fetus

Premise #4: A human being’s right to life can only be violated for self defense

Counter argument: The fetus may be human but it is not a person and only persons have a right to life.

Response to counter argument: Defining personhood so that it excludes the fetus but includes an infant is impossible

Slide number 1 should say this is what I am arguing for (not literally) just state what the argument is. What are you convincing people of.

Slide number 2
Has to say PREMISE 1 ; (INSERT A FACT AFTER SEMICOLON
You can have multiple slides that support your premise

Underneath this slide show reasons why is true show facts. (you can use Tables, Graphs, video from Youtube supporting argument)- can be done in a couple slides then proceed to next premises and repeat until you have 4 premises.

(Sources have to be respectable sources not from a random blogger)

Premise 2; (insert fact after semicolon)
Underneath add supporting facts like premise number one you can add table, graphs, videos etc)

By the end you Should have written 4 Premises with supporting evidence/facts.

Then counter argument- what you think someone who disagrees with you might say. Then respond to counter argument. YOU CAN USE REASONS STATED IN THE PREMISES YOU DO NOT HAVE TO COME UP WITH ANOTHER REASON UNLESS YOU WANT TO.
