Click through the above link. Look through any Crisis magazine from 1943. If you scroll to the table of contents youll see a section throughout the year entitled First Ladies of Colored America.
Read the brief blurbs of some of these women. Then answer the following question:
–How do you see a challenge to the secular/sacred dichotomy among many of these women?
When you respond, make sure to:

        reference which month you found this persons blurb
        you need to have at least three women from two different months!
