Discuss one of the theorists’ work in relation to your own adolescent development. Critically discuss successes/obstacles/questions/challenging experiences and how you overcame/got stuck/sought help, etc.

Ex: Erikson’s sixth stage of development is intimacy vs isolation and the resolution is love. One may discuss how they are progressing through this stage by discussing getting married, having children, and starting careers.  Alternatively, they may choose to discuss why they do no aspire to marry or be a parent.  Or why they would prefer to adopt than have biological children.  (Note: Don’t use this stage in your paper….why? Because it does not correspond with adolescence.)
