The first paragraph of the essay needs to be a summary of the article. If it is just a copy or paraphrasing of the abstract or another review paper, you will get no credit for it. Read the article carefully and write the summary in your own words. The second paragraph is where you need to explain the connection between what we have learned in the course to the topic discussed in the paper (class is anatomy one, so points of relation would be hormones, vitamins, understanding of structure and function of related tissues and such). In the third paragraph, you can further explain the state of research regarding the topic, including what new methods or treatments are being discovered. Other sources might be used to expand the topic of current research. In the fourth paragraph, you should put your analysis of the research based on your own knowledge and opinion. You can discuss the strength and weaknesses of the article you have read. The last paragraph should be about your conclusion, including what you have learned from your research work, class discussion, methods, and the article about the health topic.
