compare the intentions of the founders 230 years ago with how U.S. government is operating today with respect to a specific element of administration, policy-making or constitutional guarantees. For instance, how does present presidential leadership (and/or recent congressional action or judicial rulings) stack up against what the founders had in mind? How is a particular constitutional guarantee working today to protect rights and liberties or to allow a diversity of interests to participate in public policy-making?
