we have spoken about mimcry and hybridity in the literature. Discuss the presence of mimicry and the possibility of hybridity in two stories. Where do you see mimicry occurring in at least two of our fictional readings? What is being mimicked, why, and to what end? Also, discuss the possibility of hybridity as presented in these stories. Do we see any characters attempting to live a hybrid life? Are they successful? Why or why not? Based on our reading, is hybridity a realistic possibility in the US? How so, and under what conditions? If not, why not?
