The purpose of our paper is to examine strategic human resource planning and selection process from a management perspective. This includes the recruiting process (internal recruiting/mobility, employee referrals, walk-ins, outside organizations, agencies services, and advertising/ internet), the selection process (applications, screening interviews, testing etc.), and training and development of selected prospects (on the job/off the job training, job instructional training, and other methods to develop skills in the work place).
