Review of the book touching base on these eight points

2. What does the author say about this particular presidents style, public persona, and ability to achieve his
accomplishments?
3. How did this president understand the role of the chief executive?
4. What did this president seek to accomplish? What was his agenda?
5. What were this presidents greatest problems and greatest obstacles? Who were his domestic opponents? In
other words, what specific groups, individuals, and events presented the biggest challenges to this president?
How did he handle his opposition?
6. Does the book present a positive or negative (or both) view of how this president handled the job?
7. In your opinion, is the author offering a fair assessment? What are the authors biases, if any?
8. Would you recommend the book to others interested in the topic, or not? Why or why not?
