Observations 3 is GROUP observations in one area. You are writing about the entire group of children. Make sure to reread the directions and look at the examples posted.

FORMAT FOR PAPER IS BELOW Section I. Observations (3b):
WRITE THE FACTS OF WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. Be specific, objective, and descriptive. Avoid judgmental statements. Describe what the child (ren) are doing and saying (use quotation marks) during the length of your observation. Be specific, objective, and descriptive. Avoid judgmental statements (i.e. That little boy was bad.).

Section II. Inferences/Interpretations (1a):
Based on your observations (what you saw and heard), what would you say (infer) about the child (ren)s development? Identify three (3) domains of development (i.e. physical development, social development, emotional development, cognitive/intellectual development, language development) and provide examples from your observations.

Section III. Theorist (SS4):
Choose a theory/theorist (i.e. Piaget, Vygotsky, Erikson, Skinner, Bronfenbrenner, etc.) and include a discussion on how this theory would explain what you have observed about the child (ren)s behavior and development.
