Topic 1:  Compare and contrast the life of a teenager in the 1950’s and life of a teenager today and how the music of the different times affects them. 

Areas that you can address:

                1.  Compare the early rock music that teens listened to in the 1950s and the music that teens listen to today.

                2.  Look at the family makeup, family values etc. of the 1950s are compared to today.  Does the  music of the particular time affect these?

                3.  Parental and social expectations of teenagers then 1950s and now.

                4.  Dress and Fashion Then vs. Now and does/did the music of the time effect this?

                5.    How music and musical artists influence teens  Then vs Now
