Please write your own chapter for The Catcher in the Rye. You may rewrite the ending or write a chapter to replace on within the existing narrative.

Remember the following:

You can’t insert something which changes the COURSE of the story. He cannot go back to Pencey. He cannot leave for Vermont half way through the novel. Afterwards? Maybe with some clear explanation.
