For this assignment, please prepare and deliver a 5 to 10-minute persuasive speech with accompanying visual aids. Here are some guidelines to follow for your project:

Choose an appropriate topic for a persuasive speech. We recommend choosing a topic you’re familiar with and that can comfortably fill a 5 to 10-minute time period.
Choose appropriate visual aids that would work best for your presentation, such as slideshows, poster boards, demonstrations, etc. If you choose to do a slideshow, please use PowerPoint or a suitable alternative (such as Google Slides).

While not all presentations will need to be researched, we recommend backing up any facts, figures, data, or statistics with credible sources. If you do use sources, please properly cite them in APA format in your presentation, slideshow, or a separate Works Cited page.
