This most recent election was a hard-fought battle. Due to that, it seems that Americans are struggling to elevate the office as much as it was elevated in the past. What does the Constitution say about the presidency? President Trump made many comments during his campaign about the image of the president (i.e. “she does not look very presidential”). Is the office of the president more about the image (how the world perceives that person) or leadership? How does a person’s world view shape how he or she governs? Who has the capability to hold the president accountable to making the right decisions?
