Assignment 3 consists of the introduction and problem statement of your research proposal. The introduction should create a contest and background to your research. It is the introduction to your topic. You will explain your research, why your research is important and reiterate your research question and/or hypotheses.

It should also include your problem statement, which is a clear statement about an area of concern in criminal justice that should be improved upon.
