After watching the videos and reading the information on plastic pollution in Module 7, you are given the opportunity to reflect and create your own solution.  In essence, you are writing a campaign to address the issue of plastic pollution utilizing these aspects below. A campaign is similar to an essay in that you are making a claim and working to put that claim into action.

You may follow these steps and you are at liberty to be creative in your writing and include visuals if you so choose.

Introduction Write an introduction where you identify the key problem and make a summary of the thesis statement in 1 or 2 sentences;

Background information including some relevant facts and issues; conduct research on the problem using the information presented in Module 7.
Solution provide one realistic solution to the problem; explain the reasons behind the proposed solution; support this solution with justification and include relevant theoretical concepts as well as the results of your research;
Recommendations identify specific strategies to accomplish the proposed solution; recommend further actions; outline an implementation plan.
