sentence or two that give a basic summary of what the work is about
sentence that identify a major theme in the work
choose a quote or passage from the work that encompasses that theme AND cite it
next explain why you believe the quote or passage showcases the theme.
Finally give a response to the reading itself, did you like it? Why or Why not? Does it relate to anything in your life or does it make you think about something you never thought about before?
And then a creative conclusion
